**Sovico** is a *[comune](/source/Comune)* (municipality) in the [Province of Monza and Brianza](/source/Province_of_Monza_and_Brianza) in the [Italian](/source/Italy) region [Lombardy](/source/Lombardy), located about 20 kilometres (12 mi) northeast of [Milan](/source/Milan). As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 7,329 and an area of 3.2 square kilometres (1.2 mi2).[3]

Sovico borders the following municipalities: [Triuggio](/source/Triuggio), [Albiate](/source/Albiate), [Macherio](/source/Macherio), [Lissone](/source/Lissone).
