# Southeast Alabama

**Southeast Alabama** is the term used to identify the southeastern counties in the U.S. state of [Alabama](/source/Alabama). The area includes the Counties of [Dale](/source/Dale_County,_Alabama), [Pike](/source/Pike_County,_Alabama), [Houston](/source/Houston_County,_Alabama), [Coffee](/source/Coffee_County,_Alabama), [Henry](/source/Henry_County,_Alabama), [Geneva](/source/Geneva_County,_Alabama), [Barbour](/source/Barbour_County,_Alabama), [Crenshaw](/source/Crenshaw_County,_Alabama) and [Covington](/source/Covington_County,_Alabama). The area is dominated by the most populous cities of [Dothan, Alabama](/source/Dothan,_Alabama) (pop. 69,000), [Enterprise, Alabama](/source/Enterprise,_Alabama) (pop. 28,000), [Troy, Alabama](/source/Troy,_Alabama) (pop. 19,000) and [Ozark, Alabama](/source/Ozark,_Alabama) (pop. 15,000).[1][2]
