Beem auditioned for [The X Factor USA](/source/The_X_Factor_(U.S._TV_series)) in 2012, where she performed for judges [Britney Spears](/source/Britney_Spears), [Demi Lovato](/source/Demi_Lovato), [Simon Cowell](/source/Simon_Cowell) and [L.A. Reid](/source/L.A._Reid).[1][2][3][4] In March 2016, Beem released her debut self-titled EP, which featured her debut single, "Skyline".
