**Sonerien Du** is a group of [Breton music](/source/Breton_music) adapted for the [dances](/source/Breton_dance) in [Fest Noz](/source/Fest_Noz). The group was born in 1972, in [Alan Stivell](/source/Alan_Stivell)'s trail, [harpist](/source/Celtic_harp) of the [Celtic Revival](/source/Celtic_Revival). Driving force of the [Breton culture](/source/Breton_culture), the group crossed periods of concerts and*[festoù-noz](/source/Fest_Noz)*, with a traditional and modern music at the same time, always respecting [dance](/source/Breton_dance).[1] It recorded 20 albums over 40 years.[2]
