**Sola Church** ([Norwegian](/source/Norwegian_language): *Sola kirke*) is a [parish church](/source/Parish_church) of the [Church of Norway](/source/Church_of_Norway) in [Sola Municipality](/source/Sola_Municipality) in [Rogaland](/source/Rogaland) county, [Norway](/source/Norway). It is located in the village of [Solakrossen](/source/Solakrossen). It is the church for the Sola [parish](/source/Parish) which is part of the [Tungenes prosti](/source/Tungenes_prosti) ([deanery](/source/Deanery)) in the [Diocese of Stavanger](/source/Diocese_of_Stavanger). The gray concrete church was built in a [rectangular](/source/Churches_in_Norway#Floor_plan) design in 2020 using designs by the [architectural](/source/Architect) firm *Brandsbergs-Dahl Arkitekter*. The church seats about 700 people.[1][2]

The church was built to replace the [Old Sola Church](/source/Old_Sola_Church) as the main church for the parish. The old church, built around the year 1140, was located outside of the village on the other side of the airport. This church cost a total of 91 million [kr](/source/Norwegian_krone) to build.[3][1]
