# Slza

**Slza** is a Czech pop duo made up of singer [Petr Lexa](/source/Petr_Lexa) and guitarist Lukáš Bundil.[1][2] They formed in 2014 and have since released four studio albums.

## History

Slza emerged in 2014 with the song "[Lhůta záruční](/source/Lh%C5%AFta_z%C3%A1ru%C4%8Dn%C3%AD)", whose lyrics were written by Ondřej Ládek, also known as [Xindl X](/source/Xindl_X).[3] Their debut album, *[Katarze](/source/Katarze)*, came out in 2015 and included the aforementioned single as well as its follow-up, "[Celibát](/source/Celib%C3%A1t)".[4] The [title track](/source/Katarze_(song)) was also issued as a single and went on to be used as the theme song to the television series *[Přístav](/source/P%C5%99%C3%ADstav)*, in which Lexa had an acting role.[5] A fourth single, "[Fáze pád](/source/F%C3%A1ze_p%C3%A1d)", was issued,[6] and a final one, "[Pouta](/source/Pouta_(song))". The group received three nominations at that year's [Anděl Awards](/source/And%C4%9Bl_Awards)[3][7] as well as being named Discovery of the Year and Internet Star at the [Český slavík](/source/%C4%8Cesk%C3%BD_slav%C3%ADk) awards.[8][9]

In 2017, Slza released their second album, *Holomráz*,[10] followed by *3* in 2020.[11] In 2023, they issued their fourth record, *Monodrama*.
