On 30 June 2011, the last day of 2010–11 financial year, Tonelli was sold to Serie B club [Vicenza](/source/LR_Vicenza) in [co-ownership](/source/co-ownership_(football)), for €600,000. Co-currently, Edoardo Bonicelli was signed by Cesena in the same formula.
