She is the [1989 Skate Canada International](/source/1989_Skate_Canada_International) silver medalist, [1989 Skate America](/source/1989_Skate_America) bronze medalist, and 1992 [Nebelhorn Trophy](/source/Nebelhorn_Trophy) champion. Lang achieved her highest ISU Championship placement, fourth, at the [1989](/source/1989_European_Figure_Skating_Championships) and [1992 European Championships](/source/1992_European_Figure_Skating_Championships). On the national level, she won three medals at the German Championships and one at the East German Championships.
