# Silver Jew

***Silver Jew*** is a 2007 [documentary film](/source/Documentary_film) by [Michael Tully](/source/Michael_Tully) and [Matthew Robison](/source/Matthew_Robison) about the [musician](/source/Musician) [David Berman](/source/David_Berman_(musician)) and his band [Silver Jews](/source/Silver_Jews). Shot in just three days with no production budget, the film chronicles the band's stop in [Israel](/source/Israel) to play two shows in [Tel Aviv](/source/Tel_Aviv) and visit [Jerusalem](/source/Jerusalem) during their first ever world tour in the summer of 2006.

It was released on [DVD](/source/DVD) by [Drag City](/source/Drag_City_(record_label)) on September 23, 2008. Bonus features include an annotated slideshow, along with music videos for the songs "I'm Getting Back Into Getting Back Into You" and "Let's Not And Say We Did".[1]
