# Sherif Medhat

**Sherif Medhat** (Arabic: شَرِيف مِدْحَت; born January 20, 1988) is an Egyptian professional [footballer](/source/Association_football) who plays as a [goalkeeper](/source/Goalkeeper_(association_football)) for [Aluminum Sport](/source/Al_Aluminium_SC).[1] In 2014, Medhat joined Alassiouty from Asyut Petrolum,[2] and he signed a 3-year contract for the club in 2016.[3][4]
