**Sheopur Assembly constituency** is one of the 230 [Vidhan Sabha](/source/Madhya_Pradesh_Vidhan_Sabha) (Legislative Assembly) constituencies of [Madhya Pradesh](/source/Madhya_Pradesh) state in central [India](/source/India).[1] This constituency came into existence in 1951, as Sheopur Pohri, one of the 79 Vidhan Sabha constituencies of the erstwhile [Madhya Bharat](/source/Madhya_Bharat) state.[2]

Sheopur (constituency number 1) is one of the two Vidhan Sabha constituencies located in [Sheopur district](/source/Sheopur_district). This constituency covers the entire Sheopur sub-division.[3]

Sheopur is part of [Morena Lok Sabha constituency](/source/Morena_(Lok_Sabha_constituency)) in [Morena district](/source/Morena_district).[3]
