She is best known for producing the film franchise *[How High](/source/How_High)* and *How High 2* with [Universal Pictures](/source/Universal_Pictures). ## Biography Garr was born in Los Angeles. She is best known for producing the film franchise *[How High](/source/How_High)* and *How High 2* with Universal Pictures, which originally starred [Method Man](/source/Method_Man), [Lark Voorhies](/source/Lark_Voorhies) and [Mike Epps](/source/Mike_Epps). Garr also produced the [Fox](/source/Fox_Broadcasting_Company) TV series *[Method And Red](/source/Method_And_Red)*. She began her career with [Merv Griffin Enterprises](/source/Merv_Griffin_Enterprises) at [*Wheel of Fortune*](/source/Wheel_of_Fortune_(U.S._game_show)). Garr was a producer for [MTV News](/source/MTV_News) in the 1990s. Segueing next to [PBS](/source/PBS),[1] Garr executive produced the 8-part docu-soap series "The Ride".
