**Shamim Aftab** is a Pakistani politician who had been a member of the [Provincial Assembly of the Punjab](/source/Provincial_Assembly_of_the_Punjab) from August 2018 till January 2023.

## Political career

She was elected to the [Provincial Assembly of the Punjab](/source/Provincial_Assembly_of_the_Punjab) as a candidate of [Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf](/source/Pakistan_Tehreek-e-Insaf) (PTI) on a reserved seat for women in the [2018 Pakistani general election](/source/2018_Pakistani_general_election).[1]
