**Shallow Brook** is a [tributary](/source/Tributary) of [Devils Brook](/source/Devils_Brook) in central [New Jersey](/source/New_Jersey) in the [United States](/source/United_States).

Shallow Brook flows generally parallel to the Devils Brook, draining a similar area in [Middlesex](/source/Middlesex_County,_New_Jersey) and [Mercer](/source/Mercer_County,_New_Jersey) counties.

## Course

The Shallow Brook's source is at [40°20′47″N 74°29′4″W](https://geohack.toolforge.org/geohack.php?params=40_20_47_N_74_29_4_W),[1] near the [Rossmoor](/source/Rossmoor,_New_Jersey) residential area and exit 8A on the [New Jersey Turnpike](/source/Interstate_95_in_New_Jersey). It crosses [Route 130](/source/U.S._Route_130) near Broadway Street and flows west, generally parallel to Dey Road (CR-614), until it drains into the Devils Brook at [40°20′50″N 74°34′59″W](https://geohack.toolforge.org/geohack.php?params=40_20_50_N_74_34_59_W).[1]

## Accessibility

Shallow Brook is easily accessible through road crossings and the Devils Brook, its parent brook.
