**Shaikh Mahmoud** (d. around 1327) was a member of the [Chupanid](/source/Chupanids) family who lived in the [Ilkhanate](/source/Ilkhanate). He was the fourth son of Mongol emir and general [Chupan](/source/Chupan).

During Chupan's lifetime, Mahmoud was made governor of [Armenia](/source/Armenia) and [Georgia](/source/Kingdom_of_Georgia).[1] Upon the fall of his father in 1327 by the [Ilkhan](/source/Ilkhan) [Abu Sa'id](/source/Abu_Sa'id_(Ilkhanid_dynasty)), he was brought to [Tabriz](/source/Tabriz) and executed.[1]

Shaikh Mahmud had four sons; of these, [Pir Hosayn](/source/Pir_Hosayn) would play an influential role in the strife amongst the Chupanids in the 1340s.[1]
