# Shahumyan, Armavir

**Shahumyan** (Armenian: Շահումյան) formerly known as *Molla Dursun*, is a village in the [Armavir Province](/source/Armavir_Province) of [Armenia](/source/Armenia). It was renamed after [Stepan Shahumyan](/source/Stepan_Shahumyan), an Armenian Bolshevik commissar.
