**Shahrak-e Durak** ([Persian](/source/Persian_language): شهرك دورك)[a] is a village in [Mashayekh Rural District](/source/Mashayekh_Rural_District_(Kiar_County)) of [Naghan District](/source/Naghan_District) in [Kiar County](/source/Kiar_County), [Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari](/source/Chaharmahal_and_Bakhtiari_province) province, [Iran](/source/Iran).

## Demographics

### Ethnicity

The village is populated by [Lurs](/source/Lurs).[3]

### Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 680 in 174 households, when it was in the [Central District](/source/Central_District_(Ardal_County)) of [Ardal County](/source/Ardal_County).[4] The following census in 2011 counted 985 people in 238 households,[5] by which time it had been separated from the county in the establishment of [Kiar County](/source/Kiar_County). The rural district was transferred to the new [Naghan District](/source/Naghan_District).[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 664 people in 229 households.[1]
