'''Setiabudi''' is a [district](/source/List_of_districts_of_Jakarta) in the administrative city of [South Jakarta](/source/South_Jakarta), [Indonesia](/source/Indonesia). It is part of the [Golden Triangle of Jakarta](/source/Golden_Triangle_of_Jakarta) ({{langx|id|Segitiga Emas Jakarta}}), the centre of business and commercial establishments in the city. Setiabudi is named after an [Indonesian hero](/source/National_hero_of_Indonesia) of partial [Indo](/source/Indo_people) and Sundanese descent, [Ernest Douwes Dekker](/source/Ernest_Douwes_Dekker), also known as Danudirdja Setiabudi. Setiabudi is bordered by [Central Jakarta](/source/Central_Jakarta) in the north.

==History==
Setiabudi was among the first housing neighborhoods in Jakarta after Indonesia is independent. It is the oldest of such place in the district and contains the oldest buildings standing. It was among the first two neighborhoods with direct access to the [Sudirman Road](/source/Jalan_Jenderal_Sudirman), the other being [Bendungan Hilir](/source/Bendungan_Hilir%2C_Tanah_Abang).<ref name="1960map">{{cite map |author= |title=Djakarta Kebajoran |trans-title= |map= |map-url= |date= |year=1960 |url= |scale= |series= |publisher=Pembina |cartography= |page= |pages= |section= |sections= |inset= |edition= |location= |language= |format= |isbn= |id= |ref= |access-date= }}</ref>

Planning was initiated in the 1950s but mostly completed in the 1960s. The work heralded the building of the Kuningan Road.<ref name="1960map"/>

==Subdistricts==
Setiabudi is divided into eight ''[kelurahan](/source/kelurahan)'' or subdistricts:
