A youth product of [Borussia Dortmund](/source/Borussia_Dortmund), Kot begun his senior career with the Turkish club [Altay S.K.](/source/Altay_S.K.), before moving back to Germany with [1. FC Nürnberg II](/source/1._FC_N%C3%BCrnberg_II).
