## Early life

Sergey Arutyunyan was born on 14 August 1967, in [Lazarevskoye](/source/Lazarevskoye_Microdistrict), a suburb of [Sochi](/source/Sochi), southern Russia, his mother is [Russian](/source/Russians) and his father is Russian-[Armenian](/source/Armenians_in_Russia). In 1989, being a second-year student, began working in one of the commercial banks of Krasnodar.
