**Sergey Yefimovich Donskoy** ([Russian](/source/Russian_language): Серге́й Ефимович Донской; born 13 October 1968) is a Russian [politician](/source/Politician), and from May 2012 to May 2018, served as the [Minister of Natural Resources and Environment of Russia](/source/Ministry_of_Natural_Resources_and_the_Environment).

He was born in [Elektrostal](/source/Elektrostal). In 1992, he finished his studies in [Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas](/source/Gubkin_Russian_State_University_of_Oil_and_Gas). On May 21, he was appointed to the role of [Minister of Natural Resources and Environment of Russia](/source/Ministry_of_Natural_Resources_and_the_Environment) in [Dmitry Medvedev's Cabinet](/source/Dmitry_Medvedev's_First_Cabinet).[1]
