**Sekken**[1] is an [island](/source/Island) in [Molde Municipality](/source/Molde_Municipality), [Møre og Romsdal](/source/M%C3%B8re_og_Romsdal) county, [Norway](/source/Norway). The island is located in [Romsdal Fjord](/source/Romsdal_Fjord), at the mouth of the [Langfjorden](/source/Langfjorden%2C_M%C3%B8re_og_Romsdal). The island lies about 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) south of the island of [Bolsøya](/source/Bols%C3%B8ya) and about 1 kilometre (0.62 mi) west of the historic island of [Veøya](/source/Ve%C3%B8ya).

## Transportation

There are no road connections to the 18.7-square-kilometre (7.2 sq mi) island except for a [ferry](/source/Ferry) connection between the town of [Molde](/source/Molde_(town)) and Seterneset on the island.[2] The proposed [Langfjord Tunnel](/source/Langfjord_Tunnel) includes a possible branch off the main tunnel under the Langfjorden that would connect Sekken to the mainland by subsea road tunnel.
