== Early life ==
The son of former [England](/source/England_cricket_team) and Hampshire batsman [Paul Terry](/source/Paul_Terry_(cricketer)), he spent much of his early life in [Australia](/source/Australia), where he was educated at [Aquinas College, Perth](/source/Aquinas_College%2C_Perth), and the [University of Notre Dame](/source/University_of_Notre_Dame_Australia) in [Fremantle](/source/Fremantle).[{{cite web|url=https://cricketarchive.com/Archive/Players/390/390815/390815.html|title=Player profile: Sean Terry|publisher=CricketArchive|accessdate=6 April 2012}}] While living in Australia, he also represented [Western Australia](/source/Western_Australia_cricket_team) at under-19 level.
