# Sean Morrell

**Sean Morrell** (born 23 August 1986) is a [Fijian](/source/Fijians) international [rugby union](/source/Rugby_union) player.

He played with the [Ponsonby RFC](/source/Ponsonby_RFC) winning the [Gallaher Shield](/source/Gallaher_Shield)[1] and also for [King Country](/source/King_Country_Rugby_Football_Union) in the [Heartland Championship](/source/Heartland_Championship).[2] In 2011 he joined Romanian club [CSM Baia Mare](/source/CSM_Baia_Mare_(rugby)).[3]

He won only one cap for [Fiji](/source/Fiji_national_rugby_union_team), against [Japan](/source/Japan_national_rugby_union_team) in the [Pacific Nations Cup](/source/2009_IRB_Pacific_Nations_Cup) in June 2009.[4] Next month he was selected for the [Fiji sevens team](/source/Fiji_national_rugby_sevens_team)[5] and won gold at the [2009 World Games](/source/Rugby_sevens_at_the_2009_World_Games).[6]
