# Sean Everitt

**Sean Everitt** is a South African professional [rugby union](/source/Rugby_union) football coach. He was named as head coach of the [Sharks](/source/Sharks_(rugby_union)) team that plays in the [Super Rugby](/source/Super_Rugby) competition.[1][2] He was also the coach of the [Sharks (Currie Cup)](/source/Sharks_(Currie_Cup)) team that competes in the [Currie Cup](/source/Currie_Cup).[3] He stepped down from his role as Head Coach after the Sharks suffered a huge defeat 35-0. He joined [Edinburgh Rugby](/source/Edinburgh_Rugby) in 2023 and is currently their senior coach. [4]
