# Sean Davey

**Sean Davey** (born 8 April 1993) is a New Zealand [cricketer](/source/Cricket).[2] He made his [Twenty20](/source/Twenty20) debut for [Northern Districts](/source/Northern_Districts_men's_cricket_team) in the [2017–18 Super Smash](/source/2017%E2%80%9318_Super_Smash) on 2 January 2018.[3] Prior to his Twenty20 debut, he was part of New Zealand's squad for the [2012 Under-19 Cricket World Cup](/source/2012_Under-19_Cricket_World_Cup).[4] He made his [first-class](/source/First-class_cricket) debut on 5 November 2020, for Canterbury in the [2020–21 Plunket Shield season](/source/2020%E2%80%9321_Plunket_Shield_season).[5] He made his [List A](/source/List_A_cricket) debut on 29 November 2020, for Canterbury in the [2020–21 Ford Trophy](/source/2020%E2%80%9321_Ford_Trophy),[6] taking his first [five-wicket haul](/source/Five-wicket_haul) in List A cricket with 6-30.[1]
