He is currently a first-team coach at [EFL League One](/source/EFL_League_One) club [Stevenage](/source/Stevenage_F.C.).
Cuthbert began his career in the youth system at [Celtic](/source/Celtic_F.C.) and signed his first professional contract with the club in August 2003. During his time at Celtic, Cuthbert was [loaned](/source/Loan_(sports)) out to Scottish clubs [Livingston](/source/Livingston_F.C.) and [St Mirren](/source/St_Mirren_F.C.). He signed for [Swindon Town](/source/Swindon_Town_F.C.) of [League One](/source/EFL_League_One) in July 2009 and spent two seasons there.
