**Schoemanshoek** (literally meaning "*Schoeman's Corner*") is a village on the [R328](/source/R328_(South_Africa)) regional route between [Oudtshoorn](/source/Oudtshoorn) and the [Swartberg](/source/Swartberg) in the [Western Cape](/source/Western_Cape) province of [South Africa](/source/South_Africa). The village lies on the Grobbelaars River in a valley where [tobacco](/source/Tobacco), [alfalfa](/source/Alfalfa) and soft fruit are grown.[1]

The settlement is just south of Schoemanspoort on the same road.

In the [2011 South African census](/source/2011_South_African_census) the population of the settlement and the surrounding areas was 2,043 people living in 391 households.[2]
