# Sarot

**Sarot** is a town in the Sarot second-order division of the [Castries District](/source/Castries_Quarter) of the [island nation](/source/Island_nation) of [Saint Lucia](/source/Saint_Lucia). The Sarot division has a population of 690. Sarot is located towards the heart of the island, between [Vanard](/source/Vanard) and [bexon](/source/Bexon).[1][2] Sarot has a quiet rural feel in a tropical environment.
