She is a member of the [Actors Studio](/source/Actors_Studio) in [Midtown Manhattan, New York](/source/Midtown_Manhattan), an acting student of [Uta Hagen](/source/Uta_Hagen) and [Milton Katselas](/source/Milton_Katselas), and graduated with a BFA degree in theater summa cum laude from [Pennsylvania State University](/source/Pennsylvania_State_University). She was married to Fred Bova and they have a daughter, Amanda Grace Bova.
