**Santa** (Georgian: *სანთა*) is a village in [Georgia](/source/Georgia_(country)), in [Tsalka](/source/Tsalka) municipality.

## Description

Ancient stone tombs have been found in the village.[1] The village is located near the Santa Lake.

The village was founded in 1835 and originally settled by [Greeks](/source/Greeks), who have since emigrated elsewhere. Currently, only Georgians remain in the village.

Notable former residents include [Ivan Savvidis](/source/Ivan_Savvidis), a Santa-born [billionaire](/source/Billionaire).
