## History

Sandy Ridges State School opened in 1910 and closed in 1956.[4] It was at 1634 Burnett Highway ([26°31′39″S 152°00′44″E / 26.52758°S 152.01225°E / -26.52758; 152.01225 (Sandy Ridges State School (former))](https://geohack.toolforge.org/geohack.php?pagename=Sandy_Ridges&params=26.52758_S_152.01225_E_type:edu_region:AU_QLD&title=Sandy+Ridges+State+School+%28former%29)).[5][6][7]
