# Sandwithia

***Sandwithia*** is a [plant](/source/Plant) [genus](/source/Genus) of the [family](/source/Family_(taxonomy)) [Euphorbiaceae](/source/Euphorbiaceae) first described in 1932.[1][2] It is native to northern [South America](/source/South_America).[3][4] It is [dioecious](/source/Dioecious).[5] The genus is named in honour of the botanist [Noel Yvri Sandwith](/source/Noel_Yvri_Sandwith).[1]
