'''Samuel Percy''' (1750&ndash;1820)  was an Irish-born sculptor mainly working as a wax-modeller in England. ==Life==

He was born and raised in [Dublin](/source/Dublin) and trained at the [Dublin Society](/source/Dublin_Society)'s Schools, exhibiting from 1772. He left Ireland and moved to [London](/source/London) around 1785 and lived there for the rest of his life.<ref name="auto1">Dictionary of British Sculptors 1660-1851 by Rupert Gunnis p.299/300</ref>

He exhibited in the [Royal Academy](/source/Royal_Academy) from 1786 to 1804. He died suddenly of [apoplexy](/source/apoplexy) in 1820.<ref name="auto1"/>
