**Samuel Albert Alain Arcade Moutoussamy** (born 12 August 1996) is a professional [footballer](/source/Association_football) who plays as a [defensive midfielder](/source/Defensive_midfielder) for [Greek Super League](/source/Super_League_Greece) club [Atromitos](/source/Atromitos_F.C.). Born in France, he plays for the [DR Congo national team](/source/DR_Congo_national_football_team).

## Club career

Moutoussamy made his professional debut for [Nantes](/source/FC_Nantes) in a 1–0 [Ligue 1](/source/Ligue_1) loss to [Marseille](/source/Olympique_de_Marseille) on 12 August 2017.[3] On 6 October 2020, he joined [Fortuna Sittard](/source/Fortuna_Sittard) on loan.[4]

On 29 January 2023, in the 0–0 draw against [Clermont Foot](/source/Clermont_Foot), he played his 100th game in [Ligue 1](/source/Ligue_1) with Nantes. Three days later, the club rewarded him for the achievement.[5]

## International career

Moutoussamy was born in metropolitan France to an [Indo-Guadeloupean](/source/Indo-Guadeloupean) father and a Congolese mother.[6] He debuted for the [DR Congo national team](/source/DR_Congo_national_football_team) in a 1–1 [friendly](/source/Friendly_(association_football)) tie with [Algeria](/source/Algeria_national_football_team) on 10 October 2019.[7]

On 27 December 2023, he was selected from the list of 24 Congolese players selected by [Sébastien Desabre](/source/S%C3%A9bastien_Desabre) to compete in the [2023 Africa Cup of Nations](/source/2023_Africa_Cup_of_Nations).
