The **Samuel Black Range** is a [mountain range](/source/Mountain_range) in the angle of the upper [Toodoggone](/source/Toodoggone_River) and the [Finlay Rivers](/source/Finlay_River) in northern [British Columbia](/source/British_Columbia), [Canada](/source/Canada). It has an area of 808 km2 and is a subrange of the [Omineca Mountains](/source/Omineca_Mountains) which in turn form part of the [Interior Mountains](/source/Interior_Mountains).[1] The range is named for [Samuel Black](/source/Samuel_Black), the first European to explore the area.

The highest mountain in the Samuel Black Range is the unofficially named [Samuel Black SW13](https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Samuel_Black_SW13&action=edit&redlink=1) at 2,120 m (6,955 ft).[2]
