Naik is part of successful [Dempo SC](/source/Dempo_SC) squad which won 2 league titles and reached the semi-final of the [AFC Cup](/source/AFC_Cup), he is also a regular for [India](/source/India_national_football_team). He also captained the Indian team in an international friendly against [Oman](/source/Oman_national_football_team) in 2012.
