# Samih Madhoun

**Samih Madhoun**, also transliterated **Samih al-Madhoun** and **Sameh Alamdhon** (Arabic: سميح المدهون) was a senior leader of the [Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades](/source/Al-Aqsa_Martyrs'_Brigades), an armed group affiliated with the Palestinian political party [Fatah](/source/Fatah).[1] He was killed on 14 June 2007 in [Nuseirat refugee camp](/source/Nuseirat) in the central [Gaza Strip](/source/Gaza_Strip) by the [al-Qassam Brigades](/source/Izz_ad-Din_al-Qassam_Brigades), the military wing of the [Hamas](/source/Hamas) movement.[2]
