**Sam Tompkins** is a British [R&B](/source/Contemporary_R%26B)/[pop](/source/Pop_music) singer-songwriter from [Eastbourne](/source/Eastbourne). His debut [EP](/source/Extended_play) titled *Who Do You Pray To?* debuted at number 7 on the [UK Albums Chart](/source/UK_Albums_Chart).[1] His single "Lose It All" peaked at number 81 on the [UK Singles Chart](/source/UK_Singles_Chart), while his collaboration with [Jnr Choi](/source/Jnr_Choi) titled "[To the Moon](/source/To_the_Moon_(song))" spent 14 weeks on the UK chart, peaking at number 48,[1] and reached number 1 on both the *[Billboard](/source/Billboard_(magazine))* [Rhythmic](/source/Rhythmic_(chart)) and Rap Airplay charts in the US.[2] He released his debut album *Hi, My Name Is Insecure* in July 2024.[3]
