**Samuel Conners** (born 13 February 1999) is an English [cricketer](/source/Cricket).[1][2] He was born in [Nottingham](/source/Nottingham) and attended [George Spencer Academy](/source/George_Spencer_Academy) in [Stapleford, Nottinghamshire](/source/Stapleford%2C_Nottinghamshire). In July 2018, he played for the [England under-19 cricket team](/source/England_under-19_cricket_team) against [South Africa](/source/South_Africa_national_under-19_cricket_team), before signing a two-year deal with [Derbyshire](/source/Derbyshire_County_Cricket_Club).[3][4]

He made his [first-class](/source/First-class_cricket) debut on 26 March 2019 for [Derbyshire](/source/Derbyshire_County_Cricket_Club) against [Leeds/Bradford MCCU](/source/Leeds%2FBradford_MCC_University), as part of the [Marylebone Cricket Club University fixtures](/source/2019_Marylebone_Cricket_Club_University_Matches).[5] He made his [List A](/source/List_A_cricket) debut on 24 April 2019 for Derbyshire in the [2019 Royal London One-Day Cup](/source/2019_Royal_London_One-Day_Cup).[6] He made his [Twenty20](/source/Twenty20) debut on 30 August 2020, for Derbyshire in the [2020 t20 Blast](/source/2020_t20_Blast).[7]

In April 2021, Conners took his maiden [five-wicket haul](/source/Five-wicket_haul) in first-class cricket, with 5/83 against [Durham](/source/Durham_County_Cricket_Club) in the [2021 County Championship](/source/2021_County_Championship).[8]

Conners joined Durham on a two-year contract in August 2024.[9]
