# Sam Briddon

**Samuel Briddon** (26 July 1915 – June 1975) was an English professional [footballer](/source/Association_football) who played as a [right half](/source/Right_half) in the [Football League](/source/English_Football_League) for [Swansea Town](/source/Swansea_City_A.F.C.) and [Brentford](/source/Brentford_F.C.).[4][5][6]

After he retired from football in 1946, Briddon became a [miner](/source/Miner).[2]
