'''Salamander Range''' ({{coord|72|6|S|164|8|E|name=Salamander Range}}) is a distinctive linear range between [Canham Glacier](/source/Canham_Glacier) and [Black Glacier](/source/Black_Glacier), in the [Freyberg Mountains](/source/Freyberg_Mountains), Antarctica. 
The range was named by the [Northern Party](/source/Northern_Party) of [New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition](/source/New_Zealand_Geological_Survey_Antarctic_Expedition) (NZGSAE), 1963–64, from the nickname given to [Lord Freyberg](/source/Lord_Freyberg) by Sir [Winston Churchill](/source/Winston_Churchill), for the lizard that is untouched by fire.{{sfn|Alberts|1995|pp=643–644}}

The Salamander Range runs from northwest to southeast between the [Canham Glacier](/source/Canham_Glacier) to the west and the [Black Glacier](/source/Black_Glacier) to the east.{{sfn|Freyberg Mountains USGS}}
The [Lanterman Range](/source/Lanterman_Range) is to the north and the [Leitch Massif](/source/Leitch_Massif) to the northwest.{{sfn|Mount Soza USGS}}
The [Alamein Range](/source/Alamein_Range) is west of the Canham Glacier and the [Neall Massif](/source/Neall_Massif) and [West Quartzite Range](/source/West_Quartzite_Range) are east of the Black Glacier.
