== About the author ==
Father William Bourke SJ was born in May 28, 1925 in [Halifax, Nova Scotia](/source/Halifax%2C_Nova_Scotia). He moved to [Darjeeling](/source/Darjeeling) as  a Canadian [Jesuit](/source/Jesuits) [missionary](/source/missionary) in 1954 and served as a Headmaster for [St. Robert's School, Darjeeling](/source/St._Robert's_School%2C_Darjeeling) from 1981 to 1990. He also translated the [Bible](/source/Bible) into Nepali and wrote a book called '''Proverbs for Today''<nowiki/>', a collection of Nepali and English proverbs.
