Fountain and landscaping around the church were conducted from 1891 to 1895, and upgraded from 1923.

The [altarpiece](/source/altarpiece) was executed by the painter [Christen Brun](/source/Christen_Brun_(painter)) and shows the removal of Jesus from the cross.  At the choir stairs a large [baptismal](/source/baptismal) [fresco](/source/fresco) with a [dove](/source/dove), the symbol of the [Holy Ghost](/source/Holy_Ghost), created by [Carsten Lien](/source/Carsten_Lien) in 1919, restored in 1959.

The [pulpit](/source/pulpit) is [octagonal](/source/octagonal), made of [pine](/source/pine) and is from 1890.

The church has a number of [stained-glass](/source/stained-glass) windows. a large rose window above the main entrance, four windows in the middle of the [choir](/source/Choir_(architecture)) with [Old](/source/Old_Testament) and [New Testament](/source/New_Testament) motifs. Closest to the [church ship](/source/church_ship) are six stained-glass windows, each displaying two [apostle](/source/Apostles_in_the_New_Testament)s with stylized [ornament](/source/Ornament_(art))s in between. The stained glass windows are made by the [glass master](/source/glass_master) G. A. The church is known for its [church organ](/source/church_organ)s. The first half of the "O helga natt" scene from episode 9 of the 3rd season of the critically acclaimed Norwegian TV show [Skam](/source/Skam_(TV_series)) takes place in the church interior. The character of Isak (portrayed by [Tarjei Sandvik Moe](/source/Tarjei_Sandvik_Moe)) famously storms out of a Christmas concert performed (among others) by [Nils Bech](/source/Nils_Bech) to go meet his boyfriend Even (portrayed by [Henrik Holm](/source/Henrik_Holm_(actor))).
