**SN 2005B**, the second [supernova](/source/Supernova) discovered in 2005, was discovered by amateur [astronomer](/source/Astronomer) Paul Gray, of [Fredericton](/source/Fredericton), [New Brunswick](/source/New_Brunswick), Canada, upon reviewing film shot by fellow amateur astronomer [David J. Lane](/source/David_J._Lane_(astronomer)), at his backyard observatory in [Stillwater Lake](/source/Stillwater_Lake%2C_Nova_Scotia), [Nova Scotia](/source/Nova_Scotia), Canada. It was located in the galaxy [UGC 11066](https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=UGC_11066&action=edit&redlink=1) in [Draco](/source/Draco_(constellation)). [1]
