'''Ryan Regez''' (born 30 January 1993) is a Swiss [freestyle skier](/source/freestyle_skiing) who specializes in the [ski cross](/source/ski_cross) discipline. He represents Switzerland at the [Winter Olympic Games](/source/Winter_Olympic_Games), and he earned a [gold](/source/Freestyle_skiing_at_the_2022_Winter_Olympics_%E2%80%93_Men's_ski_cross) medal in the [2022](/source/2022_Winter_Olympics) edition.

==Career==
Regez grew up in [Wengen](/source/Wengen), has Swiss-British dual citizenship, and is a member of the Wengen ski club.

On 15 February 2014, Regez contested his first FIS race. He finished 40th at [Watles](/source/Watles). In January 2015, he made his European Cup debut in [Orcières](/source/Orci%C3%A8res) and won the overall victory in the 2015–16 season and thus secured a place in the main squad.<ref>{{cite web |url=https://www.jungfrauzeitung.ch/artikel/143790/ |title=Europacup Gesamtsieg |website=jungfrauzeitung.ch |language=de}}</ref> He made his debut in the [FIS Freestyle Ski World Cup](/source/FIS_Freestyle_Ski_World_Cup) on 5 December in [Montafon](/source/Montafon) and achieved 58th place. Regez surprisingly achieved his first World Cup victory on 16 February 2019 in [Feldberg](/source/Feldberg%2C_Baden-W%C3%BCrttemberg). The day after, he confirmed that with a third-place finish, which brought him 9th place in the [2018–19](/source/2018%E2%80%9319_FIS_Freestyle_Ski_World_Cup) season with 267 points. On 7 March 2020, he became the Swiss champion in ski cross for the first time in Crans-Montana.
