# Ryan Cordeiro

**Ryan Cordeiro** (born May 6, 1986) is an American former professional [soccer](/source/Soccer) player. He attended [Monroe-Woodbury High School](/source/Monroe-Woodbury_High_School) and played [college soccer](/source/College_soccer_in_the_United_States) at the [University of Connecticut](/source/University_of_Connecticut).[1][2][3] He then played in [Major League Soccer](/source/Major_League_Soccer) for [D.C. United](/source/D.C._United) in the 2008 season,[4][5][6] being waived for 2009.[7] He finished his career with [Real Maryland Monarchs](/source/Real_Maryland_Monarchs).[8]
