**Ryan Anderson** (born July 22, 1987) is a Canadian former professional [road racing cyclist](/source/Road_racing_cyclist), who rode professionally between 2008 and 2020, for the [Symmetrics](/source/Symmetrics_(cycling_team)), [SpiderTech–C10](/source/SpiderTech%E2%80%93C10),[4] [Champion System](/source/Champion_System), [Direct Énergie](/source/Team_TotalEnergies), and three stints with the [Kelly Benefit Strategies](/source/Human_Powered_Health_(men's_team))/Rally Cycling teams.[5]

Born in [Edmonton](/source/Edmonton), Anderson spent his childhood years in [Spruce Grove](/source/Spruce_Grove), [Alberta](/source/Alberta).[1][4] Anderson currently resides in [North Vancouver](/source/North_Vancouver_(district_municipality)), [British Columbia](/source/British_Columbia).[1] He was named in the startlist for the [2016 Vuelta a España](/source/2016_Vuelta_a_Espa%C3%B1a).[6]
