***Ruttya*** is a [genus](/source/Genus) of [plants](/source/Plant) in the family [Acanthaceae](/source/Acanthaceae). It includes six species native to eastern and southern Africa, [Madagascar](/source/Madagascar), and the southern [Arabian Peninsula](/source/Arabian_Peninsula).[1]
