She grew up in [Buckinghamshire](/source/Buckinghamshire) and trained at the [Drama Centre London](/source/Drama_Centre_London) under [Reuven Adiv](/source/Reuven_Adiv).[1] ## Career Gedmintas appeared in *[Spooks: Code 9](/source/Spooks%3A_Code_9)* as Rachel Harris, a former police officer. She has also had guest roles in the BBC's *[Waking the Dead](/source/Waking_the_Dead_(TV_series))* and ITV1's *[The Bill](/source/The_Bill)*. She also appeared as [Elizabeth Blount](/source/Elizabeth_Blount) in Showtime's *[The Tudors](/source/The_Tudors)*.[1] In 2010 she worked on the independent films *Zerosome* and *Atletu* (aka *The Athlete*); and then starred as Frankie in [BBC Three](/source/BBC_Three)'s *[Lip Service](/source/Lip_Service_(TV_series)).*[2][3] Gedmintas appeared in the American drama *[Do No Harm](/source/Do_No_Harm_(TV_series))* as Olivia Flynn. The series aired for one season from January through September 2013 before being cancelled. She starred in an episode of the critically acclaimed show *[Ripper Street](/source/Ripper_Street)*.[4] She also starred in *[The Strain](/source/The_Strain_(TV_series))* as Dutch, a computer hacker and resistance fighter.[5] In 2019 she was cast as [Serafina Pekkala](/source/Serafina_Pekkala) in *[His Dark Materials](/source/His_Dark_Materials_(TV_series))*.
